Weeding List:
View VHS titles that
are being considered for removal from the collection and
provide feedback (if any) to the College Librarian on
videos to keep or replace with an alternative format.
The Audiovisual Booking form
may be used to reserve videos to show in class. Videos from
other
libraries may be reserved using the
External Booking
form.
The Recommend for Purchase form
may be used to suggest materials you would like to see in the
Library collection.
The Library Account Application
form in Word format, is for instructors at
a distance.

Linking to a Streaming Video in Moodle
is a step-by-step guide for making streaming videos from
Films On Demand available to students directly through
Moodle.
Feature Film License:
a guide
for faculty, provides guidelines for showing a feature film in
the classroom.
Copyright
Association of Canadian Community Colleges Fair Dealing Policy:
translates some of the high
level principles of fair dealing into practical rules
applicable to Selkirk College.
CAUT Guidelines for the Use of Copyrighted
Material explains the legal foundation of copying
rights and
provides direction on its lawful exercise.
Coursepacks & Copyright:
a
guide, details what is permitted and the steps to be taken when
copying
print material for the classroom.
The Coursepack e-Log
must be
completed and copyright permissions cleared by the Library
before
coursepacks may be duplicated.
Access Copyright
administers
the license that allows for the photocopying of coursepacks.
