The Archives

View of Selkirk CollegeThe Selkirk College Archive was established in 1984 as a part of the Selkirk College Library. The archives collects and preserves materials relating to the West Kootenay and Boundary area of British Columbia (School districts 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 19 south of the Trans-Canada Highway and 86 north of Kootenay Bay). Special emphasis is given to those materials of a regional nature rather than materials which concern a specific town or city, i.e. Nelson, Trail.

To view material in the archives you can visit the library service desk and sign in with the staff who will let you in to the Minto Room where the archives are located.
