Artificial Intelligence

About This Guide

This guide is geared towards students and faculty. It aims to provide guidance on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) may be used responsibly and ethically in their work. It also gives recommendations about evaluating content created by generative AI (such as ChatGPT) critically, and it provides recommendations for acknowledging the use of and for citing AI.

AI can be a wonderful tool to use, but it is not meant to be a replacement for doing your own work. It is important that you understand when and how you can use it and when you cannot. It is equally important that you know what it can do while being aware of its limitations and the concerns around its use.
